GREAT! CAMPING
We had a great time. Spent 2 nights in space 10. We think that this is the better sight then 8, both have qualities. Get here early. This is not reservable. This is a wonderful county park and the crew maintain it well. Recommend this our fellow campers. 👍

Great Location
We arrived after dark and one of the rangers helped us get parked. There are several pull through RV spots. The gates close at 10pm, so be wary of arriving late. We got lucky the next morning and when searching for a better spot in the daylight, the nice gal in spot 8 told us she was leaving and we could have this spot. It’s the best spot in the park, directly on the bluffs. Front row seats for the sunset every night and the sound of the ocean waves below! Very clean bathrooms and showers. Lots of space between sites.

Cute But Basic
It's a cute little campground that's right by a wildlife refuge. Camping is first-come first-serve for some of the spots. They ask that you fill out an envelope with your info and $26. It's got a pretty basic bathroom, didn't use the showers but they were coin-operated. It has a lovely trail through a bird refuge to a spit that can take you to a Lighthouse! Due to COVID, the Lighthouse was closed so we didn't go, but it was about a 1 mile loop to the water and 5 miles to the Lighthouse. There's tables and benches along the trail that has great views of the ocean. They've got fire pits and picnic tables. No electricity in our spot. The gates close at 10pm so you have to get a spot before then. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice for a night, maybe longer
County park that is pretty basic-no hookups that we saw. Reasonable restrooms, coin showers, but did not look like you could adjust the temperature. Sites a bit close but separated by trees and bushes so you have privacy. Easy after hours check in-quite a few sites at 6PM on a weekday. Gate supposedly closed at 10 PM. Lots of nice trails and edge of park is right along the beach.

Very Nice
We stayed here just for one night on a Monday evening on a 20' Campervan. They have @66 sites, coin operated showers, restrooms, playground. Stayed on the cliff side and walked down to the beach from the Reserve. Incredible sunset! Very quiet. Plenty of room between sites. Not bad for $28 (26 for seniors).
