Hidden Gem

I’ve stayed here multiple times and this is probably my go to for when I want to relax and know there won’t be any issues. Right on the Columbia river with multiple parks nearby as well as stores for resupply. The hosts have always been great and friendly there’s plenty to do or quiet enough to relax and keep to thyself. A great swimming pond for the kids with no lifeguard that is attached to the Columbia through a small shallow inlet, across from the beach is a great vista with a quiet little cabana overlooking the river. A small dock into the pond for jumps into the water. Very very dog friendly with spots for dogs to swim in the pond and it’s very much encouraged. A few local dogs came through the park and also a nice boat launch for quick access to the river
