This park is also a good place to bring your horse and ride the horse trails. There's camp sites with horse corrals in one corner of the park.

Not Bad For A State Campground
The lake here is very nice, not too large. Non powered boating is allowed. Nice swimming area too, roped off. I stayed in a hike in sight. The campground has wheel barrows to use to get your stuff in. We had the third spot, you hike up past the playground equipment, uphill a bit. It took my about 4 trips to get our stuff in. Kind of a pain for staying 1 night. Now, I just bought an RV and am going back tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see the comparison of the campground between tent camping and in an RV. Very much looking forward to it, and I will try to review again with pics.
