This Cabelos Is Closed.... NO Parking!!

Was hoping to stay for A quick night(not alot of high rated camping around). Park 4 miles away also closed(but said to open in 3 weeks)....it looks really nice(we drove there first)

Approved Overnight Stop

Called ahead, lady was very nice and you don’t have to call ahead or check-in with Cabela’s, just show up. Yes, you can park overnight in the RV / Truck parking area located between Cabela’s and Lowe’s. Arrived around 7:00 p.m. and we got the last parking space next to some large containers that take up 4 of the parking spaces. Although there was a semi truck next to us, engine running, it was some noise to lull you to sleep if you usually have background noise for that. The semi left about 8:00 and it was quiet the remainder of the night, so we turned on our fan and had our noise. Yes indeed we will stop here again if traveling this way and need to park overnight. A big THANK YOU to Cabellas!

Stayed here on our way to Cherokee, NC September 20th. Used main parking lot as too many diesel engines running. Our trailer doesn't have a generator to run our AC. Quiet location near fuel and food.

5/31/18 ~ A few nice places to eat within walking distance. Dump station in working order.

As of May 3,2018, this dump station has a sign reading “closed and will no longer be available”
