Thinking About This
Most likely we will drive by it and make sure that it’s not the exact same spigot that you use for dump station black water tank rinsing 🤮
Note that my husband worked for forensic engineers, and on the first day at work, they took him to a water treatment plant which they disclose that all sewage water is treated and transformed into tap water. They said this is the case, for all metroplexes. So if you’re looking for real water, you probably have to go far away from a city or town. You will have to do the extra drive to the state park or federal park to get well water or spring water - but confirm the water source before going out there and make sure the employee you’re asking is not a zombie because they fake it till they make it. I’m sure you can try a harvest host if the farmer doesn’t poison the ground or hip camp - organic farms only. And you definitely want the water to be away from electromagnetic field radiation so make sure there’s no powerlines near the water pump

Dump OK, Water not recommended
We stayed at a dispersed camping spot near this gas station and asked the clerk if they had a spigot for fresh water. She sent us to the spigot right next to the dump station. The dump station is good and easy to get in to even with a large rig, but there's no way I'd ever fill my fresh water from a spigot next to a dump station. Clerk suggested we could fill up some jerry cans at the local Walmart, as they have a filtered water dispenser in the back of the store. That's what we did and it worked out fine. Just took a few extra trips, but I'd rather pay for clean fresh water than get free contaminated water. So use the spigot at your own risk, but not for us!
