Great Campground

Posey Lake - USFS 8700’ The campground has 23 sites, 4 vault toilets and a few trails. The lake? pond has a boat dock and a picnic area. Most sites are level and places to hang a hammock. I was the only camper at first and being able to listen to the nature around me was very relaxing.

Quiet, Secluded Getaway Spot

This camp ground is definitely off the beaten bath and sits up on the side of the mountain. A small spring-fed pond offers fishing for the casual angler. The camp sites are well separated and each has a bear-proof metal storage box. A great retreat from the city!
