The park is great but Tx heat in August with the RV in full sun all day is tuff!! We could hardly get our 35ft fifthwheel down to mid 70s even at night with two ac's on full blast cause of the heat and heat index of 107. I couldn't hardly enjoy the park itself because it was too hot to go outside except to go swim at the pool.
If you go in August, please, walk your pets before sunrise and after sunset so they don't get too hot!
Try to park in a shade but if your RV is larger, it won't fit in the smaller part of the sites. It's a nice clean park.
I just wish the sites had some shade trees. Too brutal hot in August in Tx to explore the park on foot during daylight or you'll roast in the heat. But yes, the park is nice.

This was a wonderful trip that we plan to take again. The staff was very inviting and eager to help in any way. Bring your bikes. Wonderful activities for the kids. Loved the safe environment as well.
