Nice Park
We stayed two nights to see the Alamo and visit Riverwalk. It was convenient for our needs.

No Bully Breeds Allowed
Avid camper, camp five six times a year and take our dog every where. We are are traveling and needed a place for the night. Spoke to a lady who took my information and then asked what kind of dog we have. I said a mutt because of how the bully breed is judged. She wanted me to take a picture of him and send to her so she could judge our dog from our truck. I asked if there was some sort of stipulation they had on dogs. She said no aggressive breeds and named all bull terrier breeds. I told her that he probably fell in one of those category’s. She literally hung upon me! Horrible and unprofessional! Had she got to know our dog she would of seen a very sweet boy also with very responsible parents!

Great place to stay while visiting San Antonio! Only 5 miles to Alamo, River Walk. Lots of trees, well kept facilities. A but more than we usually spend, but the closeness to downtown was well worth it. Sites a little tight, but our back-in boarded a green space and bike path.

A Resort!
Stayed here 4 nights. FHU. Grounds are nice. Bus system passed in front of the Resort to take you to Riverwalk, downtown, or AT&T Center. Security at front gate. Felt safe in a not so nice part of town. Would definitely stay here again.

Bad Cable
Cable reception poor. And sorry Suzanna, there are aggressive breeds, there shouldn't be exceptions for "my dog hasn't bitten anyone" (yet)&

We stayed here for a week, nice KOA! Lots were easy to get into. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Laundry was clean and washers were only 1.50. Buses run right outside the entrance and takes you downtown! Good value and service every 15-20 minutes. Not in the best part of town, but no problems at all. Nice bike path runs right along the park. Would go back and recommend the park. Nice people ho work there!

Nice RV Park, we spent 3 nights and would have enjoyed staying longer. Lots of trees, a nice pool, a lake and a rec center with scheduled activities for those interested. A kiosk behind the rec center sells food, we had a delicious breakfast there. Staff was friendly and courteous also very helpful. We don’t pull a car behind our motorhome so we used city bus and Uber to Riverwalk and for going out to dinner. Bus is $2.75 for a day pass, ride all day. Uber from Riverwalk was approx. $11.00 and $6.00 from a nearby area a few miles east with several restaurants to choose from.

Their website as of 03/12/19 stated no aggressive dogs not aggressive breeds. Our online reservation was confirmed, we arrive and were not allowed in as they have breed restrictions. Apparently this was on our confirmation email. Why wait until a reservation is confirmed? Put it on your website. I was made to feel like a bad parent as I did not call to ask if they take my dogs. There is a difference between aggressive dogs and aggressive dog breeds. My dog is a registered therapy dog and a graduate of the AKC Good Citizen Program. We found a place with breed restrictions that did allow us to stay with them.

If coming to town stay here. Bus picks you up in front. No hassle. It's a RV Park. Parked next to each other. We were here on a busy weekend so everyone is packed in. Newer park. Breakfast and dinner can be bought. Average. They have activities for kids. Staff is very nice. I would of gave it a higher rating but I agree with others. It's a bit pricey. Not enough showers/bathrooms. They had a problem supposedly with my site so we were stuck in back. It to me felt like a overflow site with not much room. Felt like since I was small they wanted my original sire for a large RV. Again felt overpriced.

Nice Park
Family stayed at this park for a night before we went to Six Flags. Came in late and they were very helpful. As the other review said, not the best of location but the park itself was great. Clean, friendly staff with a lot of amenities.

Great Staff, Great Park!
Stayed for the stock show, awesome location close to the barn, out of traffic! Breakfast every morning was great, just wish they started at 6 instead of 7 since we go to the barns early, but still the price and food was unbeatable. Staff was great! My wife left her phone in the restroom, and didn’t realize it until after the park office closed. I tracked it to the office, called the after hours security number and they found someone to let us in and get the phone! Other than the dirty note a neighbor left us about our dog being loud at night, (which she wasn’t, she sleeps in the bed with us, and never made a peep) everybody was friendly, and you can find just about anything you need on the grounds without having to venture out in traffic. Awesome park, will book for next year as soon as it is available.

Stayed for 4 nights, nothing special about this park, or horrible. It was average. The location is great to get to downtown attractions, if you have a car. Very bad wifi reception, nice people.

The campground itself is nice & being gated is a bonus however it located in a not so savory part of San Antonio. There is a bus that runs regularly just outside the campground entrance. We stayed facing gembler road & would request another site away from the road should we need to stay again. Dog park is nice as well. The sites are decent & roomy and is well lit. WiFi works great; also price varies on season. The only draw back again is the area other than that it is a very nice koa

Over Priced
We enjoyed our stay, but the price was a little steep. The staff is friendly. The camp is clean. We would stay again.

Nice location for doing the tourist activities, shaded but gravel lots. Traffic and train noise all night. Nice county walk/bike trail adjacent to property that we used. Long term renter's sites need cleaning up, because of that the other sites are over priced.

Clean Grounds, Close to downtown
Over priced, level sites with grass or gravel. Bathrooms/showers newly remodeled & clean. Only stayed 2 nites. You can hear some freeway noise in the back of the campground. The front desk staff were friendly & helpful. Directions to location took us via several freeway interchanges, we discovered an on/off ramp right down the road. You can also drive from KOA right into town on Houston St which connects to Commerce right to Alamo Plaza downtown. There was ample parking in a lot on Commerce.

Stayed here Four nights Nov. 2016. Large park clean and quiet just a few miles from The River Walk and the Alamo. We rode the city bus that stops in front of the KOA. Bus was a dollar and some change, runs every 20 to 30 minutes I think. The KOA has large fenced dog park and plenty of grass around perimeter of park. We didn't use any facilities but the pool and other buildings look nice. Gravel pads some with shade and some without. Staff friendly and accommodating. Would stay again

San Antonio
We stayed here three nights in January 2016 with a 31' class C pulling a Mini Cooper on a tow dolly. It's clean quiet KOA on the edge of San Antonio. It's near the interstate easy on and off. There is a city bus route that stupid in front of the campground that will take you down to the River Walk if you don't want to drive.
