Good Park
We come here at least two or three times a year. The Bison herd is growing. They are allowed anywhere they roam. That includes the campsites. Campsites are good and spaced out for privacy. Beautiful canyons (sunrise and sunset). Flies are plentiful when hot. In summer it can get very hot. Small lake and playground. Watch your dogs. Bison can't tell the difference from coyotes. They will get aggressive. Especially if they have young ones.

Nice park good trails well kept. Campsites are very nice with a good amount of space between them and some shelter. Plenty of bison and horse flys. would have been 4 stars but dump station was out of service.

Very Impressive Park
Great park with wonderful views. Hard to take a picture without a bison in it. Many educational programs scheduled, and hiking trails to explore.

Bison Are Everywhere
We really enjoyed this park, it was hot but the bison came through the campground in the afternoon, we saw a bison on the hiking trail and bison st the front. We were there in our 27 foot airstream for two nights.

Beautiful park. Lots of trails. Trails a little rough for bicycling ( bring patch kit). Free range for Bison so you might run into some on the trails, and in your campsite. Stopped in Quitaque to go to the local museum. Worth an hour visit. Particularly since Park office is closed between noon and 1 pm for lunch.

We came out in oct very beautiful park. I hiked to the upper parts and to the fern cave. The bison are amazing and not dangerous like the one at Yellowstone. The campsites are large and some are hidden by the cedar trees. Only bad thing we're the flys during the day but they go away at night. We are going back in April.

Very nice clean camp ground. Numerous hiking trails. Bike trail to a train tunnel which houses bats in to summer. I was here the first week of Feb. and temperatures was in 60-70s. Lots of wild life including bison. Would stay here again.
