Very Positive but bring potable water
I agree with the other reviews but as a sanitation professional the slimey and turbid water is suspect.

Quaint Seaside
Lovely little seaside area where the Colorado River meets the Gulf. It's free to stay in the parking lot, $10 for a yearly pass to drive on or camp on the beach, and the RV spots start at $27 and go up from there. Bathrooms are well maintained. There are cold rinse showers outside of the bathrooms. The nature center puts on activities such as star parties or kayaking/bird watching. Worth checking out.

Loved It!
Very nice park! We walked to the beach. They were clean and not crowded. They also had a small nature exhibit that our granddaughter loved. A terrific place to fish as well. Even in the heat of July, it was breezy and very comfortable outside. Extremely well kept and clean. Sites are pretty close together.

Lovely Get Away
Beautiful, and well maintained. Free wifi. Next to the Colorado river and walking distance to the gulf beach. Lighted fishing piers. Beautiful sunsets

Fabulous
What an unexpected surprise. This place was great. Walk to the beach, kayak the Colorado River, bird watching, ride bikes and we had the entire beach to ourselves- although we were here in January. A hidden gem among the Texas gulf.
