Fantastic Weekend

This was a great site! Very nice bath house. Mostly level spots. Very little cell reception, as advertised. Would definitely recommend!

Very Nice

Paved roads. New modern bath houses. Clean. Level sites with full hookups and 50 amp power. One of the best State Parks I have camped.

Pulled in to a non-reserved spot late at night. Settled in and had a cup of tea before heading to the campground host to pay for our spot. A knock on our door. A lady hysterically announced that she had reserved this spot. I apologized and said we didn’t see a reserved tag. She said there is one. We looked and sure enough there was one. In the very short time we had been there the campground host, unbeknownst to us, put a reserved tag on our spot. Anyway we packed up and drove home. We will take the blame for this one but it was still a crappy deal.

Not Happy

We stayed here2 years ago and it was beautiful. Right on the lake. This time I made reservations and they put us in the Equestrian section ( don’t have horses). Horse poop everywhere. Flies. Right on the road. Don’t understand. Maybe my fault. Didn’t ask enough questions. The park has 2 other campers in it and this is where she put here. Awful. Too hot to care.

Remote And Peaceful

Stayed three days some sites right on the lake with amazing views. No cell service unless you drive up the road a bit. Recommend and would stay there again

Long drive to anywhere, no phone or Wi-Fi except at lodge. Very nice park( pin oak lake) restrooms heated and clean.

Gorgeous!

Beautiful State Park with huge trees and gorgeous lakes. Stayed at Pin Oak Rv Park and enjoyed our time thoroughly. Will go back again soon! This is no normal state park...this is over 40,000 acres! Best kept secret in TN. Definitely worth the drive.

Quiet

Poplar and peaceful. Polite people in the campgrounds. Several lakes and locating for campground. Alot of variety regarding activities.
