Friendly Folks
Had a breakdown and needed a place to stay, Whispering Oaks was full but made space for us to stay for three nights. Very friendly people. Probably 80% of the park is full timers, most of those have nice rigs and neatly kept sites, some are raggedy old rigs and trashy sites. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Pool was closed for the season when we were there. Everything appeared well maintained. Lots of trees, but I had no trouble getting around with our 40' motorhome and a small toad. Had 30 amp service our first night, 50 amp for our following 2 nights. Water was good, sewer was good, wifi was good. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Agree with Mack. We already arrived that night before his review got posted. Had we seen his review we would have skipped this place.

What a sh!!t hole. 90 % of residents were full timers. Crap pilled behind every RV Tires, couches and trash You couldn’t step out of your RV door without stepping on your neighbors permanent 4” septic line. Got out of there as soon as we could the next morning Rating -1

Lovely Campground.
We stopped here for one nite but decided to spend another. Nice shaded lots ample room for our 37ft moho and F150 toad. Will definitely come back. Park is very nicely groomed. Large play area for kids. Did not use the pool or the bathrooms. For 40$ (cash or check) it is a great place.

Good, Quiet One-Nighter
Nice shady mostly level gravel pads. We called ahead, and Keith reserved us a 50 amp pull thru for 1 night with a cc, payment in cash or check. Another courteous man led us to our site, easy in and out for our 34 ft motorhome pulling a truck. No highway noise, great mowed field, all dogs on leash, lovely swimming pool. Only downside was some junky sites of some obviously permanent parties. Did not use bath facilities.

We arrived late and the owners/managers were very nice and helpfule to get us in our spot. Yes there are trees but there was ample room to navigate a 36' and I saw larger. Would have stayed more than the night if we could have. Beautiful area and will stay there again!

Not designed for motorhomes tight spaces. No 50 amp. Appears to be a older campground for small tow behinds. I felt it was overpriced due to no 50amp no WiFi etc. Would not stay here again

Overnight Stay
After 8 hours on the road and traffic back ups in Atlanta and Chattanooga we were ready to stop. We didn't want to pay the $50 for the KOA so we opted for this location. There were some permanent campers and a few over nighters like us. It was clean and had a large field in front. If you have a large rig (ours is 38 class A) or don't like pulling thru tight spaces don't come here. The driveway entrance is tight and so are the interior streets due to the number of trees. However those trees keep the motor home cool. Also the utilities and dumps are almost in your neighbors area with wi fi being weak.
