Camper Cabin

Price was steep ($75) for an in season camper cabin but stay was nice and peaceful. Early check out is a bummer but there's so much great hiking nearby, it was no personal bother. Cabin had a fridge, ac (wasn't needed), twin/full bunk bed, fire ring, and swinging bench.

Good Place

The only 2 things we didn’t like about the place was early checkout by 10am and there WiFi doesn’t work other then that it’s close to all the main attractions but off the beaten path

Great Peaceful Location

Wonderful campground! Would definitely stay here again. Friendly hosts with helpful information. Really nice laundry and store.

June 2019 Review

Mark and his staff were excellent. If you want to disconnect, this is the spot. Limited wifi an cell. But you can connect with nature and your family. Fully stocked store, my Amazon order arrived on time too. Wildlife came right through our campsite. Plenty of hiking, walking, and fun. I will stay here again. Don't Believe The Pictures

Stayed at this campground last June unless you have a four wheel drive the site we we're in you would never get in and all the sites back where we were in the campground were the same terrible sites could not get camper level very poorly managed sites will not be staying here anymore and have past this information to my friends and other camper owners that I speak to when asked. Pictures are very misleading.

Mountain Camp

We enjoyed this campground close proximity to both Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse. The only drawback to staying here is a drawback that is shared by most of the campgrounds in this area. There is no connectivity, cell phone, Wi-Fi, Internet, antenna or satellite TV. So we sat back and enjoyed being connected to nature. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was some WiFi down near the camp office, but it was spotty at best. We were able to pull up two bars and make a few phone calls. We were told it is one of the few places that has any cell phone coverage at all. We would stay here again, though it is doubtful we will be driving our RV from PA for another trip west.

Had reservation here and I had been injured at work and could not make the scheduled time for my reservation. I could not drive and I had to have surgery to repair my right hand on the 1st day of my reservation. The surgeon even wrote a letter about my injuries and that I was not able to drive. I guess they could have worked with me instead of keeping my deposit. I know I will not make another reservation here again. Some time accidents can happen. I really think they could have me me half way.

Great Spot!

This campground has such spectacular views! Beautiful mountain rock formations. Large sites, full hook ups, clean bathrooms, dish washing sink, playground, heated pool, basketball. Many sites are pull through. The location is excellent. Away from the highway, but close to all the many tourist attractions. We will definitely go back.

Fantastic Place To Stay

Great location that is close to everything. The campground is very well maintained and the facilities close. This is a great place to stay, will defiantly be back!!

Absolutely a great place to stay. Lots of shade and space between sites. Quiet and beautiful views. The staff is great and the place is spotless including immaculate bath houses. I don't know why I'd stay anywhere else!
