I wrote a review on this campground by mistake. Please forgive. I tried to delete it, but it wouldn’t happen. So instead, I’m changing my review to this comment. Lesson learned when there are two campgrounds with the same name except one is northern and one is southern, make sure you verify you’re on the right one. Sorry.

The Big Missouri

We love this place. Huge area below the dam, lots to do here. Check this gem out.

Spacious Sites & Well Maintained

Very nice! We stayed for several days and enjoyed fishing, swimming, disc golf and plenty of sitting around. Our sites had a big grassy area that was all ours. Would definitely stay here again!

So Much To Offer

This is a beautiful, well-maintained & spacious park & campground. Tree-filled campground, paved rv pads, lots of paved roads & biking trails within the park as well as connecting to Pierre's system. The park staff also informed & instructed us well for a severe thunderstorm that struck. We hope to be back & stay for several days!
