Disorganized - called for a reservation, arrived mid afternoon and no one was available. Another camper suggested one of several vacant sites. Owner showed up after I was set up and had to move. Not the only one that had to move in our 3 day stay. Park is hilly, "pads" are uneven grass, dirt and gravel. Need extended sewer hose for hook-up. About 10 abandoned vehicles in field near entrance. Plusses (which up graded park from 1 star to 2), can see Crazy Horse monument from park, close to other attractions, and 35 a night.

Not Up To Potential
Bathrooms not clean. Shower is scalding hot and not adjustable with no place to set soap or shampoo bottles. Tent area looks good, but RV area has no trees and sites are close together. If you ignore the broken down equipment, the walk to the pond is lovely. The host is a super nice guy.

Best Campground In The Black Hills
We stayed in the Ranch Camp area of this campground and I loved it. Surrounded by trees. It’s a huge campground so they have all kinds of sites. Our site was not at all level, but that’s not a huge deal to us. I’d rather have wooded trees than a paved campsite. Nice pool too.

Great Place
I would definitely recommend staying here. The owners are friendly and the place is very clean. It has a lot of trees and a lake to walk too .

Great Spot
Came down day after eclipse with parents and 2 RV's. Had a fabulous time. Camp is small the pull through we're kind of tight. However very very quiet and the camp was full. My twins had a great time on the paddle boats the owners provided. And fishing in the stocked ponds. Full hookups were great. Price was fabulous. We will be back for future trips. The area was so beautiful. The owners were so nice. Thank you for giving us a wonderful vacation.

This campground is centrally located just south of the Crazy Horse monument. The host is as nice a guy as we've ever met. Very accommodating in every way. Though the camping area is small the grounds are huge which allows for some exploration. A wonderful walking trail to a beautiful pond complete with paddle boats, life jackets, and fishing poles makes for a wonderful afternoon or evening activity. Beautiful white tailed deer can be seen daily in the meadow. Cabins are available as well as a few pull through spots. Restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, fire rings, a 'porch' swing, picnic table & some charcoal grills complete the area. WiFi is sometimes weak but didn't find it necessary with so many great activities available in the area. A great area map can be found in the laundry room. A very quiet and relaxing place to stay. We'll be back!
