Great Place
This place is fabulous. Great friendly staff, deliver pizza, wings, and firewood to your site. A lot of fun things for kids to do, quiet and relaxing. This will be a regular campground for us.

Great Staff
Nice people. Got in after dark and escorted to our site by Mike. Quiet with exception of a bit of I-95 noise. Convenient and accommodating. A bit pricy.

Relaxing Newbie
More expensive than we wanted to pay our first time out but overall we had a very nice time. We enjoyed the beach, we wanted to swim at the pool but a big storm had come trough and they had to empty it and refill it because all the rain turned it green. The fishing pier is nice with benches but we didn't get a bite from any fish I think bc of all the boats. Boat access as well. Nice shady beautiful mossy trees. Clean bathrooms with showers. Trash pickup. Pizza and wing orders at the front office. Overall it was great we stayed a extra night we hadn't planned on.

What a beautiful campground. Very clean, nice shady sites. It has a beautiful long lake front beach , a fishing pier, swimming area, lots of gliders and seating, pool and play area. Restrooms are spotless. Staff is very helpful and friendly with an escort to our site. Definitely a great place to stop.

Not Worth It . . .
When I got here they were advertising their grand opening as a KOA. I had reserved a 50 amp site, only to find out that I was getting 30 amps. They say I can draw 50 amps, but my system sees it as a 30 circuit and limits me to 30. The WiFi is not working. The sites are sand and pine needles. The store is almost empty. Would not recommend this campground.

Beautiful Stop
Well worth the stop. The negative reviews are mostly before and just as this park has been transitioning back to a KOA. They have tons of improvements going on everywhere. The park has a nice pool and a well stocked camp store. Immediate escort to your site, morning trash pickup, decent bath houses and a gorgeous view of Lake Marion. There is a real nice walking pier and a big beach area and swimming area. This is our second time here in a month and we will be back for sure. The only lacking fact for us is water pressure that isn’t super consistent. Got about 40 psi the last time and about 28-38 when we hooked up yesterday. The pressure is all over the place depending on what the demand is throughout the park.

Not a horrible place. I was very skeptical after reading reviews. Lake is beautiful. There are lots of permanent run down trailers here. I was excited about free wifi and it doesn’t work. There are rocks covering sewer access - no caps. No firepits at campsites but you are still allowed to build fires. I love going to state parks but wanted full hookup give a little to get a little.

When you pay your money you expect things to work. No cable. From looks of the wire it's been years. Laundry not available to guest. Door remains locked. Looks like a low rent trailer park with all the decks trash and old trailers that haven't moved in years. I could spit hotter and more water than the showers. I doubt their 30 amps is really more than 15. Beautiful location terrible service for the money.

Close To The Highway
The sweet lady was kind enough to put us in her "permanent lot" across the street. (We were having trouble finding a campground and it was getting dark) However, the lot was un-paved and tough to get into. The lot was super uneven and very hard to level our 35 foot camper. Next time we will call ahead and request a space by the pool in the main lot!

Ok In A Pinch
This should have cost $20. They advertise tv channels, internet, showers and laundry facilities. Nothing worked. No tv, no internet, laundry room completely shut down and no hot water in showers. When I was checking in I mentioned to the woman helping me that I'd like to be close to laundry room and she did put me right next to it, but neglected to tell me it was completely closed down. Let me discover this by lugging all my laundry to the door and finding it closed with a sign . Felt snookered. Would give it two stars because of the trees and nearby lake.
