What a "beautiful " spot! I punched in the wrong campground and found this by mistake 🙃 and a great mistake, I must say. It is a small place with a beautiful lake rite in front of the sites, big beautiful trees and a cute little bath house 🏠 ❤️ we did not meet the owners it is a pay by honor system. No credit, no sign in very easy. We are only here for one night, there are some permanent campers however most are one nighters. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stop Over
We stopped over for 1 night. Absolutely no highway noise. Nice green grass, lovely lake, all grassy sites, no dirt and brand new electric hookups. Seems like they are extending the sewer hookups to all the sites. Other reviews made it sound like this was a negative place to stay. The RV next door even extended dinner to us and brought food over to us. The hosts were very nice and WE will definitely stop here again.

Peaceful and relaxing
A great little campground. It’s more like just backing up to a pasture and having a beautiful view of the lake, the green grass( no sand spurs) and the beautiful sky, away from the noise and traffic and business of life. We watched the moon come up at night and drank our coffee listening to the birds sing in the morning. The bath house was old but clean with hot water and great water pressure. Also conveniently located just off I 26. Would definitely stay again.

Not For Big Rigs
While it is quaint and picturesque, it is not for a large mh towing. There is no way to turn around without disconnecting. The sites slope too much and many are 30amp only. The dump site is awkward to get to. We chose to pass it up. To each his own.

Awesome
Great spot. A little site slope but doable. Bring blocks. Super quiet, every site on beautiful pond. alongside donkey barn. Owners live on site and super nice, helped us take pictures and talked to them about their rescue donkeys. Water good, power good, no sewage hook-up but a free dump station! Bath house was fine. $35.00 a night cash. Perfect place for us..

Not Worth It
Not what I expected from the earlier reviews. This was a residential property that has some campsites added. There is a large oak tree halfway down the lane that has low limbs so watch your clearance. The sites slope down towards the lake so I had to use all the blocks I had to get my unit level. They also are part dirt and lawn. The whole area around our site was full of sandspurs. We spent hours picking them out of the carpet and shoes after we left. The bathrooms are old and only have one shower. Cash only so be prepared.

Pastoral
We needed a quiet stopover during the pandemic as we moved octogenarian parents via RV on our first long RV road trip. We chose the spot next to the donkeys with a view of the lake (they all have that) and short walk to hammock and campfire. We sat outside listening to frogs and watching the stars appear. Woke to birdsong. This may become the new normal for us. Electricity and water and a peaceful pastoral scene restored us.

Wonderful, laid back, beautiful place. Great host/owners. It was a stop over place. No real amenities, antenna tv but worked great

A Little Slice Of Heaven
If you find yourself passing this way you should definitely stop for a spell. The campground is quiet, peaceful and far more relaxing than most. I am sitting outside writing this listening to birds sing and enjoying the scenic lake. I am passing through on my way to the mountains and was able to get a spot with no reservation and no hassle... just park and camp. It’s all camping should be! I will definitely be back! Update after using bathroom.... it’s rough but I try to camp self contained so not an issue for me. It could be a big issue for some who need facilities.

Great Night Sleep
We just rolled in unannounced. Owner was very nice. The bathrooms are definitely not a highlight but for a one night stay was great. Far enough off the highway was nice and quiet.
