Great Campground
This is a great campground! The price is a little high but price anything in the area. already booked our next vacation. Staff is by far the friendliest I have seen yet. Splash pad coming soon, new bathrooms and much more.

Very nice campground, staff was excellent, but $83.00 for 1 night is criminal.

Beware KOA Employees!
KOA employee directing us into our spot almost brought us over a 4” high concrete patio - which could have busted a tire & damaged our MH. When I spoke to this employee about the damage thus could have caused, I got an argument and a lecture about not parking on the grass (which I had not done). DIY it - do not compromise how you like to park. CG Location fine, sites big enough.

I see why families would vacation here. Lots going on, including a pretty lake with lots of activities. It’s a secluded park but a stones throw to all the restaurants, stores, Walmart you could need. Large enough spaces, nice grounds and good security.

Stopped here in early February heading back to N. Carolina from Florida. Took a day to check out Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, and Morris Island. We really enjoyed this KOA stopover. Staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the grounds are very clean. Our site was very adequate, looking out over the lake. I’m sure this place is hopping during the summer months. We would certainly return.

A nice Campground. Groundwork very clean and someone was always riding around picking up trash. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. But like most things in Charleston it was overpriced.

News Years
Came to see Charleston. Historic district about 10 mi away down hwy 17. Campground spacious with mostly level sites. 50,30 & 20 amp svc, water about 80 psi, cable is analog not hd and Espn not great. Staff friendly and helpful and did allow me to move but Espn still fuzzy. Plenty for kids to do and there is a dog park. Pricey at 60-68.

Not Bad, Not Great
Big camp ground. Small pool. Roads are mainly gravel. Large pond on property. Bathroom near the office/pool area needs some help. Toilets wobble and is kinda dirty in general. Staff was very nice. Got a guide to our spot. We came without kids, idk if we'd come back WITH the kids. Looking somewhere else for the kids and our return.

A Great Place!
Fantastic staff, large sites, good wifi, pet friendly with the best dog park I have seen so far. Great hiking trail and close to shopping and downtown. Lots of friendly people and a comfortable atmosphere. We will be back.

Great KOA! Friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained grounds and dog friendly. Nice little lake and nature trail. They have cabins for rent as well as campsites and RV sites. LP gas, wood, & ice for sale on site and a great little camp store with about anything you could need! Will definitely be starting here again!
