On the Lake

While I live nearby, I went for an overnight just to see the facility. Seems oriented mostly to fishing with fishing stuff the majority of merchandise in the store. Checkin seemed to take a long time. No sewer hookups, but dump station. Wifi and cellular service weak if available at all. Wooded site was large and pull through. However $21 seems high and lake front is higher. There is a montly rate of $460 and some patrons seemed to be there long term, not sure this is appropriate use.

We have stayed at Short Stay for over a year. There are 20/30/50 amp sites, a brand new dump station. The only issues that I would be concerned about is the flooding that occurs in a good heavy downpour on most sites, and the lack of a strong WIFI signal. The personnel that work the reservation desk are outstanding and always perform in a very professional, and knowledgeable manner. The beach is well kept. The boathouse is another highly motivated group of indviduals that are well trained and knowlegeable in boating safety. Like the resevation desk they to are willing to go the extra mile to make your short stay enjoyable for all.
