Rude Place
We pulled up to the gated entrance and asked if we could check out the resort as we were staying at Hilton Head Motorcoach Resort, but always like to stay in new places. Their “greeter” is an off duty cop that comes out with a gun strapped to his hip. When asked, he told us “no, they don’t let people do that … we’re way too full”. Looking around, they appeared to be maybe 60%-70% booked, WTF? They need to replace “Barney” and get some friendly people to greet people, at least let people to go into an office where you can get information and rates! They’ve lost my future business forever!

Very Nice Resort Close To Hilton Head
First of all we really did like this RV resort. All of the spots are privately owned and each had their own spin on things. The spot we stayed had patio furniture and umbrellas as well as very nice landscape. A very good restaurant was on site. Pools were nice. Scenery was nice. Staff were very friendly. Not sure why all the reviews about travel trailers not being allowed, there were several there while were camping. Weird thing was you cannot pick your spot until you arrive. They give you a golf cart and tell you to ride around and find one you like. We found a few on the water which was great because I wanted to fish and kayak but we were not allowed to use the dock on the water and fishing was not allowed at the RV spots on the water. Due the much higher price we opted for a cheaper one not on the water. I would stay jere again. It was close to Savannah and Hilton Head Island. Spots were beautiful. I would give it 5 stars if you could use the docks at the RV spots.

Been staying here for years in our travel trailer with slides. Very disappointed in the lot owner’s association for excluding good renters.

Clean And Quiet
We arrived and met with a friendly staff. We had a choice of about 30 sites. All sites were different. Some were in the shade, some were in the sun, some long, some wide, all are nice. Everything appeared to be well kept and maintained. We will be back.

One Of The Nicest Campgrounds We’ve Seen
We stayed here April 1st and 2nd, 2019. Very nicely kept up, beautiful sites and fantastic location. Our site, #52 wasn’t on the water but we had a great view of the marina. Nice restaurant and pool, great staff. When we head back to Hilton Head, this is absolutely where we’ll stay.

We have experienced camp facilities up the eastern seaboard including Canada and Nova Scotia and can we would rate HHI RV Resort the best of all. The individually owned sites are meticulously landscaped, all have nice level concrete pads, the paved streets are wide and easy to negotiate, the sites are angled making easy entry and exit, the staff is very warm and accommodating, and the utilities include 30 & 50 amp on each pad, pool, laundry, clean bath houses, on site restaurant, all of which is well shaded and manicured. Our best experience by far.

First Time Here!
Great RV park, super clean and quiet. A little pricey but great amenities. Wish it was connected to the bike trails. This part of 278 is a little busy for bikes with no shoulder or sidewalks. Great spot!

Stayed At A Waterfront Site
We were able to pick our site when we arrived and decided on a waterfront lot. We truly were blessed with wonderful weather and overall mild temperatures. The streets are tight and the sites do vary in size and amenities. Take your time and look over what’s available. The restaurant on site is pricey, but the food was good. No issues with the 50 amp electric and the water pressure was fine. The park has WiFi which worked well. We would stay again, probably will not as it quite far from our home. Bring your toad with you if have a coach, nothing in walking or biking distance.

Should Be Better
This was once probably a very nice park. Unfortunately, lot owners and management have let things get rather run down. For the very expensive prices they charge, things should be much better maintained. Roads and lots are cracked and crumbling, owners leave clutter outside their vehicles, grass is patchy. Not worth it!

Really Nice Resort
All sites are individually owned so they vary in terms of landscaping and amenities. Park roads are tight but navigable. Nice thing ... when we checked in, they gave us a map and golf cart and said go pick your site. We returned with the site number and there you go. Personally we didn’t really like Hilton Head. We don’t golf and beach access is difficult if you aren’t staying in a resort or own property there, plus it’s pretty pricey. But if you like the area, I would recommend this resort.

Spendy, but very nice accomodations.
This was our first outing with our new travel trailer. Friendly reservation staff and very easy to follow instructions for after-hours arrival. Our site was perfectly level and nicely furnished. Only real downside was the cramped quarters which is probably the name of the game for privately owned camping areas - squeeze 'em in to maximize profit. Would stay again.

Best Campground In Hilton Head
We have been going to Hilton Head and staying at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina for about the last 5 years. We have stayed on many different sites in the park and have enjoyed all of them. We usually stay on the Inner Loop but it really doesn’t matter since all are very well designed and landscaped since all of these sites are individually owned. I would certainly recommend when going to the Hilton Head area that you stay at this resort. The only objection I have, but it has nothing to do with this resort, is that the sidewalks/bike paths that are throughout Hilton Head do not extend as far out as this resort. Hopefully, the city will make this happen in the near future. So, if you want to ride your bike to town, you will need to transport them to a spot that has bike path access. The facilities, swimming pools, playground and bath houses are all well maintained and always fully stocked with the necessities.

Great Stop
Very clean and spacious sites. Each site is unique because of the owners. Pretty walking area and 2 pools. Traffic on Hilton Head was horrible so be prepared. Golfing was wonderful.

A must in Hilton Head
What a great RV Park. Spacious, very well kept sites with nice vegetation for privacy. All sites are paved which is great. We had our daughter and young son, so we chose a site directly across from the playground. Very gracious and knowledgeable staff as well as well kept facilities. Highly recommended.
