Not Impressed
✅ patio setting ✅ lake setting 🤡 water almost foams for a minute each time you turn on. Be sure you have a vortex and berkey water purifier. RV filters are useless swindler products. Your skin absorbs chemicals in 26 seconds and goes straight to the bloodstream. 🤡 rules rules and more rules 🤡 washers smell like pets, daily maintenance not done 🤡 trash lying around and trash in fire pits, lacking attention to detail 🤡 when breeze is weak or still it smells like grey water and once in a while black water. 🤡 neighbors are too close 🤡 train 🚂 in the distance will wake up light sleepers (tents or sleeping with open windows); and roosters 🤡 avoid sites (center rows/streets) without trees during summer, they used rocks and red bricks ☀️ 🥵 Wi-Fi 👎🏽

TDY
We arrived in January of 2021. They were still working actively on the growing and expanding of the area we were located. They improved the fencing. They improved the lots with stone. They were kind compassionate and the employing of the wives of active duty military was a plus! Loved everything except the internet connection. Was doing business while there. Can't wait to get back there!

Great campground but they definitely need to add more gravel to most campsites. A lot were very muddy.

Nice Park
We stayed for a month, April-May 2021 and it is a nice park but there are a few things to know. The bath house is not cleaned daily and the laundry room is not cleaned at all. I would sweep before doing laundry because I did not want my clothes falling on the floor. They do not sell quarters for the washers and dryers. If you have a Class A make sure your propane is full because there is no delivery to the park. I know they were short staffed during our stay and I would have given a much higher ranking if they cleaned the facilities daily. I do recommend staying at CLJ, just be aware of those few things.

Amazing spot...backing up against lake...excellent internet...clean spots...should ask the full time folks to clean up around their sites but everything was amazing!!! Lovely staff and super relaxing spot- close to so many cool things to do all within 30 min drive.

Nice!
Arrived here 12/6. Lovely park not too far off I95. Large flat spaces. Some are pull thru. Some around the lake. Clean restrooms and showers. Handy and affordable laundry room...a bit small, but it works. Hiking trail, gazebo and chairs overlooking the lake. Very friendly. Cable TV isn't great, but there are fire rings so have a campfire instead.

Nice And Convenient
Nice clean campground right off 95. Large lots with paved streets. Sites are sandy dirt it’s concrete pads. Staff is nice. I was able to change my reservation dates with ease. One bathhouse for the property. Descent wi-fi, I was able to work on it. I would be back.

Nice campground
Clean and quiet campground. Gravel sites with a concrete pad. We stayed 4 nights. Employees that we met were very nice. Dog park is spacious and clean. We were in a pull through site and there were no trees. Our AC ran non stop. We have a 40 foot motor home so not sure if there were any spots that could accommodate the size and have some shade. Lots of long term sites and for the most part they were nice, a couple though could use some cleaning up. We will be back, since this is a convenient stop off 95.

Quality Campground
Nice, clean, and quiet campground. Stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the pool and walking trails. Sites are mostly level gravel and come with full hookups and cable.

Pricey
This is a nice place. I understand the premium lake sites. Not sure anything is premium other than that. It's clean and well maintained but overpriced for just a typical site. The lake is pretty. Take a walk to the island, just watch for the gators and poison ivy. We were corona camping. Didn't use the restrooms.

Nice Campground
We stayed here for a week in April. Nice campground, bathhouse was clean, nice pool area and lake side. WiFi was exceptional which was important because we were work/camping. We couldn’t go into the office or do a traditional check in because of the Coronavirus precautions but the office called me twice to check on us and sent 3 texts as well. We were well pleased. A short drive off I-95 and about 30 minutes to Beaufort. I’ll definitely be back.

Super Disappointed
We booked a lakeside premium site (site 34) appx 2.5 months prior to our December Anniversary trip. Upon arrival, we were told they “accidentally” gave our lakeside site to another family due to a reservation mix up and wouldn’t be able to put us on another lakeside site. Instead, we were placed on site #15 which was a nasty mud hole. Literally, the only lot without any gravel. Just nasty mud galore. See pics! It was so disappointing for our wedding anniversary trip to be spent in those conditions. Susan was friendly at the front desk but just somewhat overwhelmed. After speaking to our neighbors, they were also bumped from their lakeside site without warning. We were refunded our money thankfully. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Camp Lake Jasper due to the disappointments.

Convenient to Savannah and Hilton Head. Nice laundry facility - machines take credit cards. Leave your quarters at home. Decent WiFi. Nice office staff. Gated, we felt very secure here.

A Happy Camper
Beautiful clean location, very quiet country setting and friendly staff. Camp Jasper was willing to refund our stay because of Hurricane Frances them Hurricane Michael or change stay dates which we did several times. Will return for sure if our travels bring us the way again.

Love It
Our favorite campground. Have been coming here since they opened. Only live 30 minutes away so great for quick weekend getaway. We try to stay a couple weekends a month. Always clean and well kept, close to Walmart, restaurants, Hilton Head and Savannah.

Excellent
Folks were very nice, check in a breeze, spots were level and solid, hookups were well located and up to date. Patios appear newly poured, buildings and grounds were spotless and the pool looked great. The laundry has new appliances that accept CCs and iPay! I would suggest to anyone and am surprised there aren't more folks here given the proximity to 95, Hilton Head, Savanah, and Charleston.

Great Stay
Nice spacious spots, many with easy pull through. Nice pool 3-5ft deep. Nice fishing peer. Next time would request one of the outer ring sites with some shade. Store did not have much more than soda cooler and some ice cream bars and candy. Did have complimentary DVD movies you could borrow which was a nice touch. Level gravel paved sites with picnic table. Wi Fi was “iffy” at best.

Quaint
Nice park. Spacious, level sites. We stayed in our 32' TT. Friendly staff. Clean bath house. Quiet... Very quiet. No highway noise, but the silence was punctuated by the rooster crowing at dawn. But hey... You're in the country. Overall, a great stay. Would stay again if passing thru the area.

Good Stopover For Us
We’re here for the second year in a row. Nice stop on the way home from Florida. A bit high in price. But I can see the attraction. It borders a 320 acre State Park. Hiking, biking and canoeing. Place is well kept and far enough from the highway so no traffic noise.

Extremely Dissatisfied
Friendly staff and beautiful setting. However, they need a campground consultant to help them lay out the sites. If you want to use the patios, you may not be able to reach the utilities. If you can reach the utilities, the patio may not be practical. Sites are not conducive to leveling a motor home. Virtually every motor home had it's front wheels off the ground. Will not return.

Great For Overnight Stay
This campground was a little more expensive than I usually pay for an overnight stop, but may have been worth the cost. Far enough from the interstate that we didn't hear traffic noise. Easy in and out. Utilities are not perfectly placed, but functioned flawlessly. Site was long enough that I didn't have to unhook my toad. Cable was great with many channels that came in clearly. Wifi wasn't perfect, but was much better than most campgrounds. Dumpster was rather far from campsite. Much better than most. I would stay again.

Love This Park
We fell into this park when we did not like the choices near Savannah. Very close to Savannah 20mins drive. Nice people, paved streets, lake, nice bathrooms, and the staff is very nice and helpful. Well kept property. Close to I-95 and many things around to do. This is truly a hidden Gem, and love staying here.

We have stayed at several campgrounds but this one is the best. It was close to Savannah which is why we chose this area. The park was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were excellent. The dog park was a hit for our two travel companions. I even got to do a little fishing and a hike in the woods. We will definitely be back.
