Very Nice
We enjoyed our stay for three nights to explore Charleston. We got back later than usual one night so we got a very good homemade Italian dinner from a food truck parked across from the office. It takes a bit of time to get into town but we have already recommended this park as a place to stay.

May Getaway
(See Don Below 7/20) Well we finally made it back to Charleston and OPC. This time we pulled our car hauler. Total length 65 feet. Was concerned that I’d have enough room on the lot to not have to unhook. And I didn’t. Thanks to OPC they have all sizes to meet the needs of the camper. Ours was H7. Not only large enough but shady too. Great location. Could not have asked for a better spot. So if you are going to Charleston, I highly recommend Oak Plantation Campground. A great campground with great people.

Loved It!
We have a teardrop without bathroom. Knowing we were coming in on a weekend, I called for reservation. No need for reservation for 30 amp and water site near restroom. We didn’t need sewer hookup, although they have plenty of those also. Tons of sites available. Very, very clean bathrooms and showers. Very quiet. Seasonal campers are all in back area. Plenty of sites for big RV’s. We were by ourselves on a grass pull thru site. Good Sam campground. They have an Italian food truck at front every night. Very friendly staff. Easy to get into Charleston to see all the sites. Would definitely stay again.

What A Gem
This campground is amazing. Site was large enough for our 43’ Landmark 365 5th wheel and truck. Nice picnic tables and facilities. Folks there keep it nice and clean. Lots of trash receptacles for placing your garbage. Short drive to anywhere you want to go. Gas stations, grocery store and Walgreens Pharmacy right outside the campground entrance. If you’re a golfer, lots of room to practice your chipping. We were on site H1.

Pandemic lock Down
We just bought a new motor and decided to make a quick trip down here to visit the campground and maybe get into town. We never got into town as we could not arrange transportation easily so we spent our camp ground. Had a great time with the poolJust like we did last time we were here kids were little. The park is very well-maintained and seems to attract a large amount of expensive and unique rigs. Staff was helpful and accommodating. They do enforce the rules they say they will enforce. As we were without a car and Uber was basically not running that weekend, we walked over to Publix and a few other of the local stores to pick up what we needed to finish our weekend. It’s worth the trip and stay just to admire the trees the landscaping the buildings. I understand it may not be around for many more years so enjoy it while you can

Great Place To Stay
We had scheduled a long weekend in the middle of July. And our first time using the RV. Well we got there around 3 00PM and got checked in right away. We set up and turned everything on. I had to go to the airport to rent a car and when I got back an hour later the temp in the RV was 96 degrees. We decided to go to dinner to give it more time to cool down. An hour later. It was still 96 degrees. So I went back to the office and informed them we were leaving due to this issue. They offered to refund our money or issue us a credit to be applied at a later date. I chose the credit. They are very nice and considerate so this will definitely be my go to place for any and all visits to Charleston.

Hard To Beat For Charleston Area
Really good spot and sites for visiting Charleston area. Nice staff, nice sites, gravel or mostly leveled. Most are fairly wide, not too crowded. Bathhouse are just fine, clean. Laundry has four washers and two dryers. Quiet, peaceful, really off to itself but close to necessities and really easy to get into Charleston and down to islands. Really enjoyed staying here three nights while working Charleston area. Will stay here again. WiFi is not super strong but ok for emails and such, cable is good. Water is ok. Enough shade in most of the park except in the middle section in back. Plenty of shade around edges and in front sections. Site MM10 was awesome spot for us.

Clean Park Close To Everything
Great park, it’s pretty big. They have three bath and shower buildings, a nice pool, and a very good Italian food truck. The WiFi is plentiful and is strong enough to stream. We made our reservations for the wrong date. When we arrived they were more than accommodating to make sure we had a place. The sights are wide with tons of room to pull through and leave. All in all great park, great price, great accommodations.

2nd time visiting this park. We have a 45 footer going in after hour. Called a headed and asked if they could make sure I had an easy spot to get to as my turning radius sucks, she said she would make sure I had no problems getting in. We had a nice wide pull thru waiting on us. Park was very clean. Bath house was good. Kids had a good time riding bikes around. Will be our go to spot visiting Charleston.

Stayed 3 nights. Staff is friendly and helpful. Showers & head are clean and warm. Laundry works well and is fairly priced. Grounds are well kept, spaces are lever and nice size. Stayed in a drive through lot. Close to downtown and other places of interest and a Publix market is near by.

We loved this park! Plenty of space for big rigs in the park plus getting in and out of Charleston. The WiFi was a nice surprise and fast enough for what we needed to do. Will never stay in any other park in Charleston!

Nice RV Park With Great Location
This RV park has excellent facilities and full hookups (including sewage) for modern campers (50 & 30 Amps). As an added bonus, the sell propane there at site. Making reservations by telephone was easy, the greeting and check in process was very efficient and friendly, and the park itself is clean and very nice for a RV owners with with a pet. Also, I love the fact that they have many pull through concrete pads that are perfectly level for the RVs. Lots of fun things to do for kids: biking, swimming, walking dogs (also has dog run), frisbee golf, horseshoes, fishing (but watch for potential gators), etc. Finally, it very close to Charleston and perfect place to stay when visiting.

Long Weekend Getaway
Very nice grounds that were well kept. Nice level site. We arrived late, after closing, and they had our campsite and a map taped to the door for us. Easily accessible from the highway and pretty close to local attractions.

Besutiful Park
We could only stay one night but wish we could stay longer. Park is large and beautifully groomed with lots of trees for shade. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice level site. No problems maneuvering our big rig inside the park, but access into the park was a little tricky from the busy highway. Close to attractions, so even with only one night we were able to do some sightseeing. We will definitely be back.

Nice Campground
Overall a nice campground. Bathrooms for clean and plenty of stalls for multiple people. Awesome dog run area, grounds well-maintained and plenty of trash cans so you weren't having to walk across the park to throw it out. Friendly staff as well. It would be nice to see a little more to the camp store just for odds and ends that you need -it was fairly tiny. Only real issue we had was the traffic which was a bear because the campground is is off of a busy highway.

Good Stay...
Facilities were clean, hookups solid, sites were level and primarily gravel. They have dry storage so a good option for lay up of a camper.

Nothing but good things to say. Great location, and helpful staff. Laundry very small, but staff said they are expanding this winter. We’d go back again. Ate at Gilligan’s. The hush puppies were killer!

Kinda Rude
Nice location, but rude staff, It seems like you have to pre qualify to be invited into their "plantation". Too many other nice places to stay.
