Very Accomodating
We arrived after 2 days of rain and had a very difficult time getting setup on the site. They gave us another site and 2 gentlemen stayed to make sure we were all set even well after their day was done. Sites are typical size and spacing for private campgrounds. They had sites to suit just about every like and cabins as well. Camp store had everything you could need. Playground and pool looked very well maintained. All in all, wonderful people, wonderful place even in the rain!

Sites too close together. Entirely too expensive for a one night stay.

Wonderful Campground!
Polar cabin was very warm and muggy inside. extremely small (maybe 175-200sqft, much occupied by double-bed set of bunk beds) and an extra fan was a must. a little musty/smelly, but to be expected when “rustic” with limited protection from elements - not sealed off from bugs/moisture. The feature that separates the Polar cabin from the water+electric tent/pop-up sites is fridge+freezer and microwave. Could see horses in pasture from our fire pit! Very quiet and secluded from other sites. Camp store well-stocked with essentials and fun souvenirs, ran by friendly attendants. Rhonda at registration was extremely kind, even offering to hang around and wait for us to check in after hours. The gem mining station is so cute! Our toddler had a blast panning for gems!! Didn’t get to use the heated pool but will during our next trip, which we are already planning! We will choose tent site or deluxe cabin, I think. Can’t speak to RV sites or WiFi, but will update as we experience more!

Only complaint? WIFI!
Yes, the sites are very close, but generously long & PAVED, which is nice, especially during heavy rains. (We just came back from a KOA where the sites weren't paved-just compacted gravel. It rained the previous day & there were deep ruts by the hook-ups, making leveling a real nightmare. Not a problem at BEAR RUN.) We stayed here twice in 6 weeks. Both times we were a few spaces from the main bldg. Both times it was very quiet. The staff is friendly & helpful. The owner is around often & genuinely seems to enjoy meeting his guests. He also goes out of his way to ensure your stay is problem-free. As for the WIFI, being so close to the main bldg. didn't help. The connection was dreadful at best 90% of the time. During the end of our 1st stay, the staff at the main bldg. gave us the # for customer service. They were VERY patient & eager to assist. He eventually helped us establish a stable WIFI signal. So, my advice on the WIFI? Get the customer service # & call them. Problem solved.

B-free
Very true sites are very close. Grounds are taken good care of. Nice pool & play ground. Not much for adults to do. No bike riding. Lots of seasonal camps. We wanted to stay an extra day but was told we had to go.

Good Time
The staff was very nice and helpful, but the sites are very close together and the campground is on a big hill. We did have fun and maybe we would go back.
