The campground is small but very clean, and of course with PA parks it has a very limited pet area. The staff is very friendly and if you arrive late, they have a honor system, which is nice. There is a 2.5 mile walk to flat rock, which is very challenging. Wear good boots because it’s all rock. Once you’re there, the view is amazing. We were there in October and there was a lot of gnats. The bathrooms are very clean, but the showers are pathetic low flow cold showers. most sites have electric. unfortunately, they use reserve America.

Tight Sites
Sites are close together. Very busy but clean campground with great hosts! Lake is beautiful and hiking trails are numerous. If your up to it the Flat Rock trail has a million dollar view at the end but it’s steep, rocky and challenging. Lake and beach are pristine.
