Due to all the rain the hiking trails from the campground were a muddy mess. A little drainage and gravel would go a long way to stop erosion and mosquitoes in mud holes on the trails. Site was nice and private with a tree buffer in between. The restroom and showers definitely need an update. The lake and park was awesome along with the history and background of Gifford Pinchot. Check that one off the passport list.

Great weekend BUT if it rains and you get a swamp campsite expect to say in the camper. We stayed in the pet loop and it was tight with our 21 footer. Now length but width due to trees. Playground and water access was wonderful!!!! Bath house need some help but it was a hot free shower.

Beautiful!
Beautiful campground, especially Loop B! Water view is gorgeous. Playgrounds are great. Campsites are overall nice. There is so much to do here!

Needs TLC
We were there in 2019 and 2020. Area A where we camped was heavily overgrown between campsites with weeds and poison ivy. Five of the 8 children in our group ended up with poison ivy. Some of the pads for parking RVs are starting to deteriorate. The campground needs some serious TLC.
