Couldn't be more pleased with our visit. Quiet, clean and well kept. Everyone who works here is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very peaceful. Highly reccomend!

Great spot close to everything that you would want a the beach. New restaurant opened last year and the food is outstanding I recommend the chilly dog! The staff are all fantastic and the grounds and restrooms are spotless. The owners have remodeled the main office and added a small restaurant, looking forward to going there again soon.

Not What We Expected

We were very excited to come here for our first experience west coast crabbing. Their website made it sound like they taught shore crabbing and boat crabbing. Unfortunately there was no one to help us do either. The "marina" is really a mud hole that fills up at high tide. They had NOTHING in their store; not even toilet paper or a cracker. Our site was 600 steps from the ocean, very tiny. And when we saw the ocean, there was no beach nor anyway to get down at low tide for clam digging. Just rocks. It is inexpensive and perhaps that is the draw - but given that they advertise crabbing as an amenity, we were disappointed. Actually, we found no amenities. We went to a state park across the bay for a picnic - then left this campground early. We felt we had been mislead by the website.

Well maintained and clean park next to the estuary. If you want to go crab fishing this is the place. They will rent the boats, cook the crab up for you, etc., or just a great place to chill out and watch the wildlife.
