Shawnee Firelake Alternative

Just about 10 miles in Shawnee on the map is Citizen Potawatomi Nation Firelake Casino with a city RV park. Right next to a beautiful grocery store you can walk or drive to. All sites are grassy pull throughs with water, electric, sewer and wifi (? we did not use). Pull in, pick a spot, set up and walk across street to police station to register currently for $20. Other stores and restaurants nearby. Smokey casino we skip them. At this writing we are the only guests. Sweet.

Expensive

$50 gets you a site with electric...some have water. .. no shuttle to casino.. no restrooms except in the casino and no showers... this is the most we've paid for a site except for one other $50 site in cayucos, CA with a beautiful ocean view and full amenities. .. won't stay here again
