Nice New Spots
Nice stop. It’s the only place in Norman. You pay on site in a drop box. Several full hookup sites and many additional parking lot sites. On a summer Saturday night there were several spots still open.

Basic & Run Down But Only Spot In Town
We've been parked at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds for the past couple months. The only pro of this place is the location (it's the only RV park within Norman city limits). Cost is $25/day or $150/week. The spot we're parked in has no sewer hole (it had been run over & never fixed) and we are sharing a water outlet with a neighbor so have to set up a splitter in order to hook up to water. We're parked toward the end of the RV's and unable to get a decent Wifi signal and there is no cable TV included (nor any other amenities). A lot of the RV's are run down but people keep to themselves. For $600/ month you're almost better off renting a short term apartment if you plan on staying more than a couple months. Would like to see the county invest in at least making sure each spot has full access to the amenities customers are paying for.

Parking Lot Camping
These lots are small to moderate in size as this is county fairgrounds. The front section is open for parking except when county fair is on in late Aug. First come-first serve basis. $20/nt, $120/wk, $480/mo. W, S, E 50 & 30. Pets ok with clean up after them (as usual there are those that can't seem to get the hang of what that means). There is usually stuff going on on the weekends, craft fairs, flea markets, farmers market, etc. Laundry, shopping, best buy, etc all within a cpl miles. This is one of the safer areas in all of OKC area per a local police lieutenant and others who have lived in area for years. People rotate thru quite frequently. Parking lot has spots with E & W only for overnight if all outside spots are full. Staff is friendly and helpful. When freeze warning was issued, they put a notice on your rig to take precaution with your water.
