Great-Quiet Little Getaway

Quiet, Clean, and Pretty little lake. It's not to far from where we live, so this is our go-to lake. My 10 year old son lost his daddy 2 years ago and just recently, fishing became his favorite hobby. He hasn't wanted to fish any other lakes because Tom Steed is his favorite! Hand's down, great camping and much needed mini-vaca.

Camp Life

I'm a local. This is our go to park. Well kept and clean. Most pads are concrete and level the rest are stone. Only 3 are pull through. Make your reservation on line early as the sites book fast. If you are traveling through call the office before hand they some times have a site for a one nighter.

Great Little Campground

Beautiful lake. Clean and friendly staff. Worth a visit. We really enjoy this place. Lots of areas to walk. Good fishing. Kayaking. Swimming. Very quiet and peaceful

Beautiful Lake (Fishing Tubing Camping)

My family and I come here all the time. This lake is so beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset when the water is calm with a view of the beautiful mountains in the background. It’s a very peaceful place to camp with your family. Most of the RV and tent sites are close to the water with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit, and grill. It’s also great for fishing, tubing, skiing, or joy riding in the boat. The lake has kayak and golf cart rentals along with a swimming area and a few hiking and biking trails. 2 miles from the lake is a bait shop in Mountain Park if you plan on fishing along with a cafe with great food. The lake is also about 5 minutes from Snyder where you can grab something you forgot from Dollar General or stop by and eat at a few of their eating establishments that all have awesome food and service: The Hoppin Jalapeño (Mexican food), JT’s BBQ, The Bait Shop (delicious burgers and breakfast), and Pizza Express.

Had a great stay the sites are nice and clean. Good fishing nice swim area and a great walking trail system.
