Good for an overnight stop on the road. Campground staff is friendly. Sites are tight and could use some improvements. Deluxe sites are the way to go. Pool area has two nice pools. Train does run near by but did not bother us too much.

Only Busy Because Of The Location
Let's start with the uneven gravel pads. Leveling was difficult. The pool(s) are tiny, overcrowded, and kids are crossing the main entrance road- usually unsupervised- to get there. The trains run all night, and since there's a crossing nearby, the blowing horns are truly a treat all night. Quiet hours are supposed to be from 11p-8a, UNLESS you come in with a motorcycle. In that case, it's apparently required that when you come back any time between 11pm and 3am, you have to rev your engine all the way to the back of the campground. Also, I assume it's required that motorcycles also rev their engines at 6 am when they leave. Basically, this is a great place if you don't plan to sleep. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere.

Trains, Trains And No Cloths
If you like the sound of trains traveling all night long only several hundred yards from your campsite this is the place for you. If you need to do laundry this is not the place to do it. Only two washers and dryers for a campground this size.

Improvements Needed
The sites are so worn that even though they are paved you still need levelers. There are train tracks about a quarter mile away and the trains run all night long and there is a crossing near the campground so the trains are blowing their horns all night too. Drainage is poor so anytime it rains a lot of the sites get flooded. We couldn't connect the sewer because the female end was too low in the ground and the maintenance guy had to find a sandbag to hold the sewer line in place. The only positive is the number of kids activities.
