The price was great! The campground itself was very rundown. Old campers and mobile homes scattered everywhere. That was our view. Most spaces are filled with permanent campers. The weekenders are put out with all the trashed rv's. Then the races started nearby and between the cars and the booming from the fireworks twice in one night that was special. We are selling our 5th wheel and I wouldn't take outside pictures while it was there.

A Family Friendly Campground

We stayed over the July 4th weekend and in October for their Halloween weekend. While it's not the most updated of parks, both stays were loaded with family and kid activities. They put on a 1-hour fireworks display, hosted dances, held a costume party, and other activities. There are only two drawbacks that can be noted: the dump station and the speedway. The dump station is not easily exited. There is a drag speedway in the neighboring town that races into the wee hours of the morning. Overall, this is a family friendly campground where the staff is helpful and the seasonal campers were all neighborly.
