Not A Fan
My boyfriend and i camped there 2 yrs ago. (Sorry review is late. Didnt know about this app) We had never been there before and picked a site out through the reservation process site unseen. The site pad i had reserved was wet, moss covered and slick. We ended up asking for another site in the middle of the ground which turned out to be better. Bad things about this campground include: the park is right next to the road you come in on. Theres not a lot of traffic but what there is, you hear and see it all hours of the day and night. Other thing that probably was my biggest issue was, the shower house is clear on the other side of the lake, not at the campground. It is used by campers and non campers who visit the beach. The night i went to shower, i had him drive me there only to find there was no lights along the path or over the bridge to it. Once there, there was about 1 or 2 very dim lights on inside. I felt very uneasy and left. I doubt if we return.

Newbie, 39' 5th Wheel FT w/ pets
Super quiet campground, very helpful camp hosts. I had a 39 foot 5th wheel which fit into one of the pull through sites, with my truck across the front. The sites have 30A, picnic tables, fire pits, and an asphalt pad. No water or sewer at the sites - there's an upload and download point close to the entrance, and shared pit toilets and dish wash water dump points (no hose connectors, just dump the bucket of dishwashing water & can rinse with non potable water) in the campgrounds. I ended up selecting a site that was downwind of a trash dumpster & pit toilet. I didn't spend much time outside onsite. We hiked a few of the short trails in the area - pretty slick, with fallen trees, but well marked. The disk golf course looks amazing. I wouldn't rush to stay there again, but it was very peaceful - no cellphone connectivity, but plenty of birds and frogs.
