Stayed over Labor Day weekend. Place was moderately busy but very quiet. Tent sites have nice shade trees. My hats off to the maintenance staff. Good looking grounds. Bath houses were NICE. Was really impressed, Thanks

Spots were great next to the river. View of river slightly hidden by the grass when outside but from the camper was great. Spots have good distance between them. Restrooms were okay. We were in loop c which seemed a little older but they were doable. Don’t recommend the pit toilets at all! Take the walk. Restrooms in loop b were new and really nice. Mosquitoes were really bad but we expected that however, the camp host said they had a new contractor for spraying.... doesn’t seem to be working. Several people left early because of them. We fogged our area and sprayed a lot. One of my relatives from the area suggested taking garlic pills. Wish I had known that ahead of time. Otherwise was a really pretty campground. Great shade.

Great Campground

Beautiful area and well maintained. Easy access to water for fishing, boating and swimming. Two playgrounds for kids, horseshoe pits and volleyball areas. Outdoor theater. Organized activities. Large, shaded sites. Something for everyone.
