Great Place

Like the creek and ponds. The folks running it were.very nice. The free ice and firewood each night was a nice bonus. Quite.

Quiet and spacious!

Been camping here off and on since it opened in 1966. Good enough to keep coming back time and time again. Ponds for fishing and swimming, creeks, and friendliness abound. Close enough to everything yet far from it all. Kid and family friendly.

Incredible place to stay. The sounds of the creek and the sounds of bullfrogs from the two ponds at night are incredible. Great family atmosphere and very friendly Owners. We came off Blue Ridge Parkway looking for a place to stay for one night. We loved it so much, we stayed for three nights and wished we could stay longer. This place is a must see and we will definitely be back soon!
