Stayed in site 19 which was located next to the large field. We had no trouble getting into our spot as we were traveling with two other families that stayed in the same section. However, it might be difficult to get into your spot if there is someone in the spot in front and behind you as this would cause you to parallel park your rig.
Overall we really enjoyed this campground. Wifi was strong. Cable had many channels. My kids LOVED the creek and spent over 8 hours playing in it on saturday. Everyone was friendly and very welcoming. There were a few permanent sites at the far end of the campground but it seemed that had all of the weekend-warriors positioned near the front. We will definitely return again in the future!!

Tranquil Streamside Camping
Buck Creek is alongside a beautiful stretch of mountain river with abundant trees bordering a huge open meadow. Campsites are primarily back-in spots with some that are along the forest edge up a slight hill. Each has 50 amps, water and sewer, a fire ring (rock circles and metal rings) internet and some w/cable. The access road & sites are fine rock and gravel; puddles form during heavy rain. Sites are close together, so it helps if you are chummy.
One bathhouse/laundry facility serves the entire park, it is not convenient to the far end of the park. Bathrooms have two small shower stalls and ridiculously small commodes suitable for children, though they are clean and offer soap and paper towels. Site choices are limited by many long term units. The office/store has little for sale, but dining, shopping and Camping World is a fifteen minute drive. Location is the big draw here, with access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and mountains, along with the beautiful setting.

Fabulous CG. Will stay again. Clean quiet. Great base to travel local or chill in CG. Creek swimming holes the best! Peaceful CG. Stayed in 40ft Prevost, no sweat. Shaded spots or pull thru's by the huge field.

The owner is very helpful. The sites are shaded and provide a great view of the creek. There is a nice swimming area in the creek. I will return. Plus there is easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Great accessibility, plenty of room for maneuvering. Friendly family business. Almost all spots are along the stream. Wi-Fi is awesome, we ran 2 phones, an Xbox, and a smart TV with zero problems. The stream is clear and picturesque throughout the length of the property. Firepits on every spot and firewood for sale at a fair price. You will not be disappointed. We will be staying here again.

This is a great little Campground just outside Marion NC. The campsites are nestled under the trees and positioned next to Buck Creek. There's a 30 acre open field that is outstanding for flying a drone. The owner is also into flying RC airplanes and if you are lucky, you might get a spectacular viewing of a very talented pilot. Scenery is beautiful. Bath house is very clean. The owner, "Dan the man" is a great guy. You will enjoy your stay. I'm looking forward to my next trip.

Great Campground For Stress Relief
Nicely maintained campground. Easy access with big rigs, sites have adequate power. If you want to relax by a mountain stream this is a great campground. Close to camping world if you need any camper parts/accessories. Be sure to visit the orchard at altapass on the blue ridge parkway when staying at Buck Creek.
