Happy To Be Here
The front desk was very nice. The rv park has many nice touches. Very nice people around us. We had site 163.
We loved the woods. They internet so that was not a problem. Nice place. We would come back.

We stayed here recently for a weekend getaway and I would have to say that this campground is ok. It’s the first time we have ever stayed at a thousand trails campground. When we arrived we were greeted by a lady at the office that was rather nice. She gave us all the info we needed and had a choice to pick our site.
However, we thought we were prolly picking out a great site, site 24, which we thought would be pretty cool beside the small creek. Well it is very tight and right on top of another site. We could not put our awning out because of two trees in the way which we were told about that. But the negative side is we got tree sap all over our Trailer and also our truck. Our neighbors were far from being friendly to us. Even though we tried to speak a few times. The campground itself is very confusing as well in the way all the sites are laid out. If you stay here, suggest getting site towards the back if you want a little more space between you and your neighbors.

We stayed here 3 nights in site 740 as part of our Thousand Trails membership. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Good water pressure at 55psi.
When we arrived, the front office asked us what kind of site we would like. We said "a level site." They suggested we drive all the way back to the end of the campground. It's a very large campground. Takes nearly 8 minutes to drive from the front to rear at the posted speed limit as it winds around over a creek, up some pretty steep hills and around some corners. Not our favorite campground navigating with our 42ft 5th wheel, but we took it slow and didn't have any problems except for a small scrape in the road with our lower clearance bumper on a steep hill.
The front of the campground is mostly asphalt roads and paved sites. The back of the campground is dirt/gravel.
We ended up leaving a day early because we need internet.

Small And Tight
I was originally impressed with the reminder calls about the reservation. After staying a couple of nights I was glad to be leaving. Bath house is old and run down there were a lot of trailers there parked full time and run down. I felt like I was in a trailer park not a camp ground. They did have a DJ on Saturday night on the courts and enjoyed it until some folks showed up with their liquor and raising cane. That wasn’t family friendly. The two stars are for the newly remolded club house. That was nice and clean.

We stayed here on our first camping trip in our RV. We had a great time and this past weekend took our 5 nephews and niece. It was a great trip with so many activities for the kids. We just love it here!! Can't wait for our next trip.
