Our Favorite Camping Area
Right next to south toe river. NO HOOK UPS, NO ELECT Nice bath house hot showers. Closes mid Oct -re opens Mid March. First come first served. NO Reservations. Has beautiful waterfall and great walking trails My happy place!!!!

Nice Campground
Great campground at the base of Mt Mitchell. Nice sites with very nice clean bath houses. Nice staff. Native trout streams.
