A Disaster Zone.

We don’t camp there but over the years, have visited people who do. This place is a wreck of started but unfinished projects. Place looks like a junkyard dump, a war zone of downed trees and dug up areas that are never cleaned up. Camping spots can be difficult to get in and out of and not close to being level. Recreation building will probably never be useable, been YEARS “in progress”. Kids play area is an old decrepit joke. Forest “LAKE” is actually a big pond not for swimming. Roads are a rutted mess. No real sewer hookups a REAL negative for seasonal campers, have to pay to get pumped out. Some sites have a barrel in the ground for gray water only. In summer on a hot busy holiday weekend the electricity is unreliable and inadequate and a meter shows brown outs. This place could be a beautiful gold mine with the right owners who know how to professionally run a campground. These owners are clueless.

Very Outdated

Went to this campground to get away for the weekend. Website made it seem very updated and family friendly, however when we got there it was so rundown. Very tight to maneuver 30 foot camper, sites that overlook the pond are hard to pull the camper in due to a hill right in front of you. Did have water and electricity. Map on website is not up to date as you can not drive up to the dump station from the back of the campground anymore.

Camper

We visited Memorial day 2016. Their website has very outdated photos. The lake is small, the paddle boats & dock were unusable. The rec center was closed. The showers had standing water from previous people using them. Not going back. Needs a lot of tlc.
