Best Campground, Nicest Staff

I have never found a resort with the best customer service. The camp spaces are divided into seasonal and temporary spots. The temporary, I was there for 8 days, are very spacious. Level, concrete pad, fire pit and picnic table on each. Very nice shade trees and close to bath house and fenced in recycle area. They offer free cable and even have a cable person Donna and Larry, who are the nicest people I have ever met. Not only did they set up my cable, they fixed my messed up cable tv system in my rv. Then they showed me around the seasonal area and sold me on trying seasonal living after my traveling adventure. The resort has 3 pools, a resturant and the largest camp store ever. There is a full week of activities and live concerts on the weekend. Brennan beach rv resort is a 20 star resort.

Research extensively and decided on this park. Bad decision, first day we arrived and every day since we’ve lost power for a 2-4 hour period. It is 95-98 degrees. All seasonal folks say it’s been happening for years. Management denied and blames it on power company and or campers for using a/c too much. It’s 95 plus out here. Nice site, close to water. Do not enforce many rules, dogs swim where poeple do, though it is posted no dogs on beach. No quiet time. Ok, I’m a heavy sleeper. Some aren’t. Can not give more than 3 stars, and as this point I’m being generous. We have a long week ahead of us, this review may be revised.

Power Issues

So far the only issue is power outages down at the sites near the beach. The locals say it’s been a common occurrence when it’s hot out for years. For what you pay, they should have fixed the known issue. When it’s 96 degrees out - no AC in a large metal box is not okay! And when we inquired about the problem we were greeted with attitude. Other than that it’s exactly as described, very large, nice proximity to lake - suggest getting one of the pull thru sites like B21-16 and you will want a golf cart..
