Not for Really A Transient Camp Ground

Booked online thought I was getting a pull thru electric, water and sewer. Arrived late after office closed. Info left on door. Site assigned was a back in and terribly uneven. No sewer. Campers surrounding site were all full time more or less permanent residents. Beside our assigned site there are only 20 or 30 out of 200 or so were transient sites none pull thru and no sewer sites. Neighbors were very helpful. Did bare minimum setup until office opened in morning. Before office opened we were able to find a more suitable campground, visited and signed up for a week. On return, staff were very helpful and considerate and refunded our deposit and understood our concerns. They indicated if we had booked directly thru the office we would have avoided all the confusion as the 3rd party agents they use know nothing about the campground. Lesson learned.
