Unplanned Pit Stop
Our generator quit about 50 mile outside of Amarillo on a 100 degree day, so we need a stop for the night to figure out our next move. Great park friendly people most sites look to be glass level. We are 37’ towing a van and we moved around the grounds to our pull-thru site with ease. The restrooms were clean and the grounds well kept.

One Stop
Stopped on our way home here at the KOA. According to the info given to us they are new owners. I have a Big Rig but checked out the toilets and showers (mens). They were squeaky clean. I was impressed. Our site was gravel like most of the sites out west. Connections were great. The site was quite level. Everything was super clean. They communicated via txt well. They provided a breakfast which I bought for 8.50 and was quite good including coffee. Good friendly people. Wi-Fi was good but can’t stream. They do provide cable which was excellent. Picnic tables were provided. To get a five they need concrete pads.

Great Site And Breakfast
This was a nice stop after a long day of driving! The staff/management were very friendly and helpful. We had a little problem with the electrical but was easily remedied. They offered breakfast delivered to our site, which we ordered. We were given a discount for our electrical trouble. Very nice people and campground!

Didn’t Love It
Site wasn’t level; potholes in the sites. Almost zero space between you and the next campsite. The one we were assigned was full of dog poop when we arrived. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Price extremely high to start with but even worse for what we got. Wouldn’t stay again and that’s saying a lot. I’ve left better reviews of random, gravel lot no-name RV parks.

Rude
We came back because we had such a good experience on previous trips ——-but—- new management. I am pretty sure they have missed their calling. “”Incredibly rude” front desk and attendant that showed us to our space. The camp ground was near to empty when we arrived and when we departed the following morning. But we were still sandwiched between two large motor homes. Made for a close night. Laundry facilities are expensive. The dryers overheat and turn themselves off. The grounds are ok, but not beautiful. Sites are gravel and fairly level. Yes that’s freeway noises, and not the roar of the ocean.

We had no issues with the campsite. Parked on a nice clean concrete pad in the back. Quite a few flying bugs attracted to lights at night, but that's not the campgrounds fault. 50 amp, water, sewer. Everything you would typically expect at a KOA. Not a lot of people there when we went. No reason not to return.

1 Night
Please do not stay here. HORRIBLE KOA. Upon arrival the young man that guided us to our site told us we CAN NOT USE THE BATHROOM, he said it's only for emergencies !!!!. He said that we must use our Rv facilities !!! Well when you just arrived you are not connected to water or anything so you gotta go ! Shop, pool, restaurant were CLOSED. The site had several fire ants mounts and on the grass next to our picnic table and dirty left over plastic forks from last guests. We couldn't sleep due to the terrible noise from highway even though we were placed in the very back of the Rv park. Next morning the Rv next to us had a flat tire and 5 minutes after we left we also had a flat tire in our Rv. It's an interesting fact to think about it... the grounds are not maintained at all ! These people are not friendly. And please DO NOT blame it on Covid-19.

It’s Ok
Ok for overnight. I didn’t like the fact I had to buy two bags of ice. I only wanted only one but office guy said there was a five dollar minimum to use a debit card. Wow what a way to bring in customers. Park was kinda grown over and looked run down. Black ants everywhere on our site. Other park in town looked better. Will try it next time.

Very helpful staff. They are constructing a concrete pad area for big rigs which was partially completed and about 5 of us were able to stay there. It was very nice. Very clear TV and a lovely view. I recommend it.

Enjoyed my stay there, not the most beautiful park I've seen, but at the end of a long days drive, who cares? What matters is, when I got to my next KOA, I realized I had left my 100dollar surge protector on my site. Thinking it was gone for good, I called them, and yes, they had it and would send it to me. Now that's honestly and service, which is important to me as a member.

KOA you can do better
Basic camp site, you get to share a patch of grass with your neighbor. Ok for an overnight stay but not a family outing.

Keep Going.
Had been on the road since 1 am and wanted to check in around 9am and the guy would not allow it even though there were plenty of sites available. Tool bag.

Expensive for a koa that is a very basic campground. Good for 1 night and laundry was expensive too.

Quiet
Very near hwy 40 east or west. Little to no road noise and no train! Bathrooms not fancy, but well maintained, and clean, very comfortable and homey. Site hookups all working and in good shape.

Needed to be mowed..at least the weeds. Adequate for a night. Not very eye appealing. But they do deliver a nice menu. Of the 7 spaces for just elec and water we got the one with high weeds and no shade And the rest were open.???oh well. Good for a stop over

Not Impressed
Reserved 50 amp space and they tried to put us in 30 amp. Lots of things in disrepair. No a/c in restroom and it smelled. Place is over run with jackrabbits. Very little grass for dog. On return trip, we stayed at Mountain Road RV park. Easier in and out, no jackrabbits and a little grass.
