First the good. The park is open and it's a really pretty area. The campground is basically one big field. They have both electric and non-electric sites and about half of them are first come first served. The sites are pretty open with great views, but not much shade.
Now the bad. The dam is being repaired and the lake has been totally drained. It looks kind of cool, but there is absolutely no fishing, boating or swimming. I'm guessing that it'll be at least a year before the lake starts filling up. Also their water pumps are burned up so water is trucked in every day and it's only available for 2 hours from 4-6 pm. If you want a shower or to fill your tanks, you have to do it between 4 and 6. I don't know when the pumps will be replaced. The park is also kind of out in the middle of nowhere.
