A Hidden Gem
I want to thank Tatum folks for this oasis of hospitality with no strings attached. The other reviews have described this FREE 5-site RV park. The two of us slept soundly in this quiet space so easily accessed from the highway. Whoever you are, thank you Randolph Rampy and the community that established this RV remembrance.

Nice spot for passing through. Actually free! Electricity is all we needed. Had a nice walk around the shady park. Far enough off the road to have limited road noise. Water and sewer dump is available, but not as convenient. Can’t complain when it’s free! Thanks Tatum!

Thank You Tatum, NM
Free city park with water, electricity and sewer. Maximum stay 3 days. There are 5 telephone poles each with 20/30/50 amp power, so I would say there are 5 spots. Each is wide enough you COULD fit 2 rigs between each opening, so you COULD make it 10 spots, but that would be crowded. I can't believe people have complained, here, about a free place to stay with hookups. Granted the water is difficult to get to ... it's in an underground box, I assume to protect from freezing, with a fairly heavy steel cover with no handle. We could have jerry rigged some way to open it, but since we had plenty of water in our tank it wasn't worth the trouble for us. Also, yes, the sewer hookup is right in the middle of the drive, so your rig straddles it ... not very convenient, but if you need to dump you could make it work. For the price you pay, adapt! They provide this out of the goodness of their heart and really get no benefit out of giving us this. I appreciate the town of Tatum.

Free RV park, with updated 20/30/50 amp electricity. Beautiful little park with playground nearby. Baseball and hoops, too. Here's to a good night.

Not Today
It appears that the electrical has been upgraded, but at most of the sites the water and sewer is unusable. I had to keep going. Maybe next time improvements will have been made.

Free!
As Pam said, on the corner of Beech St and Eubank St. 5 spots. 1 is just a spot. 4 with full hookups. 50 amp and level too. No showers but toilets are just across the street. It ain't the Taj Mahal but it gets you a nice safe free place to park. Behind the Tatum Community Center.
