Hope You Like Trains

I could get over the overall condition of the park because I was just there for a quick overnight and the price of 30.00 was ok for full hook-ups. The manager was very kind and helpful. Gravel sights -that were level. Hook -up easy. Since I was not planning to sit outside and look at old RV’s and trailers that were abandoned — I went to bed after a long day driving only to be awakened by a train with loud whistles about 3-4 times during the night. In the morning I looked west and saw the tracks less than 100 yards from the park. Actually feel badly for the nice manager. But location of this place with the train noise is a major negative for me.

A Stop For The Night

This is adequate for a one night stop over. Nothing fancy. One note, call for directions, gps does not take you to correct location.

Comfy Little Campground

Ramblin Rose is simple and clean. If you want a nice affordable place for the night then this the place for you. The owner is a very sweet lady who lives on site.The lot is just a gravel lot and there are no amenities other than a clean and modern bathroom/laundromat. If you are looking for a fancy campground with pool, etc then do not come here. If you want a safe, affordable place to stay then I highly recommend Ramblin Rose. It was quiet, welcoming, really everything I needed. Next time I come through Santa Rosa, I will stay here.

Ok place for overnight stay has 30 amp electric, water and sewer. When you pull in park be aware of large white and black dog VERY AGRESSIVE. Look out for your self and pets!!!

Look Up CG On Google

I can't give more then 3 stars because I haven't been there only saw reviews and looked on Google Earth. Last review is miss leading. They have a Facebook page, but no other except "Campground Reviews". Happy Travels

Very simple park. Gravel. Mostly 30A. Mostly level. Next to active train line but not too busy. Pretty good for the rate for a quick over nite. Better than the local Kmart. Very few spots. Owners are very sweet (strikes you that they are just renting out their yard!) no credit! Cash or check only.....
