4K River Ranch is a 17-acre mountain landscape bordered by national forest. We offer RV and tent camping, apartments, rustic cabins, and a stocked trout pond. We're family and pet-friendly and located within the town limits of Red River in northern New Mexico. You will appreciate the natural beauty of the mountains and the river running through the community and our RV park. We're an easy mile from the center of town, where you'll find our other properties - fully furnished overnight rentals with hot tubs.

I thought it was great. No complaints. Staff was very friendly and it’s a beautiful location. The spaces are a little close to one another but I noticed the other RV parks in the area were the same way (if not a little worse). Overall great place. I would stay there again without hesitation.

One of our favorite places to stay. Spots are rustic because you are literally in the forest. Spots in the grove are roomier than ones on the River. New ownership and management is great.

Great Place!
We spent the weekend at the River Ranch and were very happy with the experience. The staff was quite friendly, the park is clean and the spots are spacious enough for cooking and hanging out. There’s a free shuttle that will run you into town as well. I’ll definitely be back.

River Ranch drive-thru
We went to scout your park for future stays and were run off by management. The rude lady ran toward our truck and yelled at us, “no cruising!!” Looks like you shot yourself in the big toe lady; we’ll let all other vacationers know about your no cruising rule and we'll continue to stay at the Red River RV Park when we’re in the area - the owners are super friendly and helpful!

Very backward management, will not accept credit cards, cash or check only. Must send check for 3/4 of rental to hold reservation. Scenic spot on Red River. Very rough grounds. Clean bathrooms.
Decided to leave a day early and would not refund that day. Better to reserve for a day or two less than you want to stay and then extend your time.
They also charge an extra $5.00 per day if you heat your rv with electric rather than propane. This struck me as chicken s--t.
Will not return here.
Reply from owner/manager: We are under new management and have new park owners. We do take credit cards now and you can book through our new website, 4kredriver.com. There's no longer a $5 per day charge for electric but our prices have changed as we've update our amenities and extended WiFi to reach more of the park. Hope you'll stop in someday and see our improvements!
