I do not want to comment on the Spa at Ojo Caliente, but I do need to review the RV park. The bottom line is this is one of the worst RV parks I have every stayed. It is poorly laid out and just grungy. Lots of bear dirt and very little shade. We were looking to stay 2 nights and had to leave after just one. I would rather be stuck on the side of the road then to stay another night.

3 Star Rv Park - Worth $40 A Night.
Read the previous reviews. They are accurate with the exception about the WiFi services. WiFi is free. We did not have any issues with the basics. We did not try to stream a movie, so I can not comment on data speeds. Park is very quiet and you have plenty of privacy. We were in site 24. A lot of trees. We did not have any issue getting a 31 foot class c into the park. Our site has a park table with bench. We did not hang out at the site too much because we spent most of our time at the springs and spa. We at at the restaurant. Dinner was good. For two of us (meals, one drink, deserts) total came to $87.00.

Ojo Caliente RV
The 2 star is for the RV park. The springs I would rate as a 5 star! Previous reviewers have stated accurately the drawbacks of the rv park. Narrow, dirt. Pros are: walk to springs, nice setting. Con: $20 extra to dump. Cost in 2018 to park...$40.

Great Soaking!
We stay at the RV site several times a year. The camp site is pretty minimal. Lots of dirt, lots of mud when it rains. Some of the sites are pull through. The site is along the river, shaded in part by big cottonwoods. Only one restroom/ showers. These are modern and have always been clean. The real star is the resort just down the canyon from the RV site. There is a daily fee to enter the hot springs and pools. The soaking and swimming are great! The restaurant is excellent, lots of local vegetables.

The Ojo Caliente resort has great hot springs pools, great masseuse service and an excellent restaurant, but the amenities stop at the RV park. Based on rates of $200/night versus $40/night for an RV site, Ojo makes more money when you rent a room. Cable is not provided and wi-fi was horrible. The entire RV area is sand/dirt, so if you are there when it rains it becomes a mud pit.
