Not Worth It
The charge was $55, got $5 military discount. Wi-Fi did not work bathrooms had a sign on door closed we're not working no TV reception, no sewer hookup at our site 14. It was close to Kaplan volcano. The sites were level and gravel.

Nice Stop
Nice stop for a night or 2. We stayed 2 nights in a 30ft Class A with Tow in site #4. Very level. Nice View of the Capulin Volcano National Monument. T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T worked great. The bathrooms and laundry room were locked and not in use. 🤷‍♀️. Owners were very nice.

All Trails closed
National Monument closes to campers. 2 miles away is this lovely place. Roomy pull through. Very clean bathrooms and laundry. Great little place to see the Stars and Volcano!

Nice Stay
Great place to stay. Bathrooms were the most clean and comfortable I've had in the last 63 days of traveling. Has everything you need. Capulin Volcano National Monument is a must see. Nice hike around the rim or into the crater. Trails and road paved. If you are at the gate when it opens you can do both hikes and be back to the campground before noon. The volcano and trails were a real hit for my husband!

Friendly and clean
Clean quiet and convenient, nice showers, lovely owners. It's a great place for an overnight or a longer stay if you want peace and quiet. Lovely views of Capulín Volcano. Excellent WiFi.

Friendliest of several RV Parks we visited during this trip. Young couple in the process of making a good facility even better. They had just gotten a brand new rescue puppy so cute it made my day. I felt good supporting a business, run by people, willing to rescue an animal in need.

Park Itself Is Great, But........
from my understanding it's new ownership, which is a crying shame to ruin a good reputation. After paying for a 50amp spot, was escorted to try and put our 5ver 42ft in a tiny 30 spot. After refusing since we already paid specifically for the 50 spot, was allowed to park. The next day however, while away from RV the electricity from outside was cut off. Leaving food to spoil and my dog inside to get over heated. We also overheard the woman whom owns it completely verbally assaulting her husband in front of customers and everyone. It was so humiliating, I felt horrible for him. Needless to say we paid for 5 days, stayed 2.. Didn't ask for a refund we didn't care, plus they obviously are hurting to pay that electric bill...

Great Place!
Easy check in, nice owners. Great place to stop for a break headed to or from Colorado. Recommend adding a picnic table to each site but not a deal breaker. We're enjoying ourselves...

Super nice owners. Park is very easy in & out. Very clean with full hook-ups. Bath/showers were the best maintained and most clean of any park we've ever stayed. Two cabins available and very reasonably priced. Great mid-point stop over between Colorado - Texas. Perfect stop point for visit to Mt. Capulin (small inactive volcano and very interesting). We will definitely be back for another stop. A+++

Capulin - Clean And Kind
Just stayed over one night on our way from Colorado to Texas. We called last minute and they had a spot for us. Very clean, the bathrooms and showers are spotless and new, great facilities with hot water.

Nice Overnight Stop
Stopped here overnight. Nice gravel pull through sites and a few cabins for rent. The cleanest bathroom/shower area I have ever seen. Owners were nice and helpful. Couldn’t connect to their WiFi and got no cell reception (sprint). It would be amazing if they shut off the bright street lights they have on the property to allow for better star gazing. Was really disappointed in that. They sell all natural, grass finished beef on site for super cheap.

Second Stay Here!
Second time to stay at Capulin on our way back from Colorado to Florida--came in during a torrential downpour and owner met us outside to help us into our spot that he said would be easier and better with the conditions. Owners are super friendly and live on property. Great for an overnight stay! Plenty of grass to walk dogs but be careful--a few low lying cacti are around! Will be back!

Close But Strange
Very strange. They tell you exactly how to park and make you stay hooked up to your rv. The office is their house. It's close to the Volcano, but I definitely wouldn't stay long.

Great Stop
We were planning to visit Capulin volcano monument and this was a perfect stop. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and accommodating! They offered to help us in anyway that they could. It is a gravel lot and has exceptionally clean bathrooms. I would highly recommend this to anyone passing through looking for a nice place to stay.

2 Miles From Capulin Volcano NM
For visiting Capulin Volcano, this is a great overnight. It's for sure not a vacation destination, but it served our purpose. This is a struggling campground, but the owners are very friendly and the grounds are clean. The laundry room needs attention, but again, it served our purpose. Their home is on the property. They allowed us to keep our camper in place while we went to the Volcano. They also have 3 cabins for rent.

Over Night In Capulin
We overnighted in this park on our way east from Colorado. We can't say enough good things about this location. Spacious pull thru sites and very clean showers and facilities. It was a pleasure to find such a hidden gem at the end of a long day. We will defiantly be stoping here again on our next trip west.

They are still in the process of getting it upgraded and they are very nice and accomodating. The sites are strange how they angle you into what appears is supposed to be straight in pull thrus. No trees, but still, they are improving it and in a few years it might be a great little RV park in the middle of nowhere.
