Family Emergency -----No refund

We had a reservation to arrive on June 15, 2025 for a week's stay, and paid a deposit of $385.00. We received a call that morning of a family emergency back in Arizona. We needed to get home. I tried to call Sea Pirate, their website said they were closed on Sundays, so I sent them an email explaining our situation. Later that day I got an email from them saying that they were open. I called and told them we were on our way back to Arizona, that we had a family emergency. They told me that there was no refund because I didn't cancel fourteen days prior. I didn't expect a full refund. I was hoping that they would at least split it with me. They weren't having any of that. So if you make a reservation, make sure your family emergencies or any other reason for cancellation is fourteen days prior. Some things you just can't plan.

Clean And Friendly

My family and I have been going here for 8 years. The owners keep the shared areas (pool, bathrooms, deck) very clean. The staff is friendly and great with children. They have a lot of activities, every day in the summer. Their best theme weekends are the Wet n Wild, Halloween, and holiday weekends. They often have live music, which is our favorite. There are sites and cabins to satisfy every type of camper’s needs.
