Great Get Away Camping Resort

It was our 2nd visit to this resort. Clean facility, friendly staff and guests, great location. A quick 10 minute ride to great beaches, with access to a clean boardwalk and wonderful restaurants. Easy access and a short ride from the GSP. The well laid out sites are lined with trees keeping the feeling of privacy for each site location. A truly fantastic pool that is a very clean area. Lots of programs for all to get involved with and only about a mile from a large super market in case you need to replenish your cupboard. Great cable TV provided for those who can't cut the cable and WIFI service can be purchased from an independent provider. (Again for those who need the service) We will be returning to this location for a short get-a-way this season and plan on returning next season for an extended trip.

Cozy Getaway

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating at this family owned and operated campground. The lot was spacious, well-kept and shaded. The shop is well-stocked with items and they offer firewood delivery to your lot if requested. I was even greeters by their resident Boxer upon check-in. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the WIFI is terrible. If you just want to browse the internet or Facebook, you should be good. If you plan on connecting to Netflix or streaming anything during peak hours, forget it. I would visit again, if WIFI was not a necessity. Since I monitor my dogs from a WIFI camera when I am away from it, I need access to a decent internet connection.
