Very Nice People
We stayed here this past Independence day weekend. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They took this place over I believe in the past year and are doing a terrific job. There are a mix of sites. Some a bit farther apart and in the woods(where we were) and some in open fields and also river view sites. There's a playground for kids and an indoor game room. Pet friendly, very clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Not sure why there's negative reviews. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Stopped by every evening to ensure all was good. When they saw we had bikes on the back of our Class B, they brought us maps of bike trails and covered bridge tour. No Wi-Fi or tv, but that's not what we were there for. River is slow moving with some good swimming holes. We will definitely be staying there again.

Owner Is A Jerk
I came in joking around like I usually do and this guy was so effing rude to me. He has no sense of humor and seems to think he’s gods gift to mankind. I almost left after paying but decided not to. But I will NEVER stay here again.

Perfect Campground
I’m not sure what the first persons review was all about. The campground and amenities where immaculately maintained and the owners were helpful and friendly. Ignore the first persons review here. They clearly have an axe to grind or some other issues.

Just. Keep. Driving.
The owner is a sarcastic jerk. He thinks this sorry excuse Of a campground is God’s gift. WiFi by the office only. Riverside lots cost more, and have no sewer hook up but he can’t be bothered to get off his high horse to tell you that. The sites are not level and flood if it rains. Showers are tiny and gross. Not that much of a river and way over priced. It’s very dark and has no lighting whatsoever. It was very scary there and the highway is right across from the river.

My husband, son, and I love this place. It’s incredibly clean, beautiful, and the other campers (all five nights we’ve stayed there on two separate occasions) are top-notch, kind folks - owners Chuck and Laura attract a great crowd. We’ll be back often again next season. This is one of our top, favorite places and I highly recommend it. My two year old loves the toddler-friendly playground, big field to play in, and we love the nearby rail trails for biking. Close to Keene, too, if you need anything! You can also kayak or canoe the river (which runs along the grounds), and you can swim in it as well. They’ve also made a ton of upgrades. Love, love!!

Beautiful campground
This campground is a hidden gem in Swanzey, NH ... good old fashioned camping at it's best, with accommodations for tents at the river edge to Class A campers.  Our hosts Chuck and Laura Mills were most hospitable and knowledgeable of the sights and activities in the area.  Most entertaining if you enjoy, hiking, kayaking, canoeing.  Tucked away past a residential area of town between two of the areas covered bridges and surrounded by forest trails.  We will definitely return to continue unfinished hiking journeys!

Love This Place!
Started coming here with a tent and now we have a camper trailer but either way we love this campground. Chuck and his wife are the best, so helpful, it's clean, & we get to pick our spot provided there's availability. Pets welcome as long as well behaved and and we have met some really fun people here too!

Great Campground
The owner is named Chuck and he's an absolute peach of a guy. The website does check out - there's quite the diversity to be had! I'm more of a boondocker and State Park kind of guy, but this is one of the very few private CGs that I'm enamored with.
